I keep seeing different numbers for what Ariens Mammoth 850 weighs with and without the blower. If anyone has one, what's the actual weight and does it affect handling? Trying to get real info instead of dealer guesswork.

Mine's about 1,070 pounds with the blower and around 730 without. Big difference in handling, and it feels way more front-heavy with the blower, but better traction when you're pushing snow

Thank you! That clears things up immensely and cuts right to the chase. It's interesting that the extra weight actually helps with traction. Given its front-heavy design, how does it handle making tight turns on a dry surface?

After testing, I have decided to purchase one this month, unless I discover any significant issues before then. Has anyone used the Mammoth with the power broom attachment? I'm curious about its balance and control.
