Last winter, I used my new Ariens Deluxe 28+ 9210327 with the AX 291 engine to clear 16" of powder. It powered through and threw snow across the street. Auto-Turn was tricky in reverse, but overall, I was really happy

That Ariens Deluxe 28+ is a powerhouse, no doubt. I've heard mixed reviews on Auto-Turn. Some folks say it takes a little getting used to, especially in reverse. Did you notice it pulling unevenly, or was it more of a learning curve? Either way, throwing snow across the street sounds like it's doing its job.

Yeah, it's a learning curve with Auto-Turn in reverse, no pulling issues, just had to get used to the feel. But overall, the machine crushed that snow perfectly

Most new machines have their own feel until you get the hang of them. The main thing is that it can throw snow like a champ when the big storms hit. Ready for whatever winter throws at you next, I take it?

It sounds like that Deluxe 28+ is really proving its worth! I'm glad to hear that Auto-Turn just requires a bit of adjustment. By the way, have you had a chance to use it in wet, heavy snow, or just in powder up to this point?

@WinterWarrior that's an excellent question because wet heavy snow is what separates the good machines from the great ones. The AX engine has plenty of torque for it but the true test is if the chute clogs with heavy EOD slush. I'm also interested to hear how it performed under that kind of load.
